Autumn Challenge Fair 2006

Autumn Challenge is a mini enterprise simulation, where students form businesss groups
to provide a stall for a Christmas Fair. The Fair took place on 18th December 2006
and during the morning selling period the students managed to raise a total of
£800.
The money was split between two charities, half going to our local
Jessop Hospital Special Baby Care Unit and
£400 going to
Dan Aid who support the good work at Take Heart.

The school has been working closely with Christina, who has given workshops to all
our Year 11 students about Body Piercing and the Dan Aid campaign.

Following on from this we chose to support Dan Aid as one of our
chosen charities this year for our Autumn Challenge event.
Christina came into school during a Year 11 assembly on
17th January 2007 to recieve the cheque from our Head Boy and Girl.

The school are currently running an arts competition to provide
Christina with student designs around Body Piercings,
for the information leaflets and posters Sheffield are currently looking to produce.
