| Our Dan Aid campaign has always had the full support of our local MP Meg Munn and her PA Mike Harrison. Meg has worked hard to change the law, and we appreciate, we couldn't have achieved so much without all their help. |
| "I have worked with Christina since October 2004. Her and her family are inspirational and I am delighted to have been able to assist with their campaign. The campaign is about working together in partnership between Dan Aid, the local MP, local authorities, body piercing outlets and body piercers to ensure that people, especially young people, are fully aware of the issues around body peircing and ensuring that people can make an informed decision that is right for them when having a piercing. Daniel's tragic loss has not been in vain and his memory will live on through Dan Aid and through those people who choose to have a piercing knowing that they are fully aware of the issues and thatthey will know that, in Sheffield at least, they can expect a high level of safety and protection." | I would like to thank Mike for all his help and support during our campaign from 2004 - 2009. Mike was instrumental in organising our trip to London to present our Dan Aid Petition to the Prime Minister - Gordon Brown along with our MP, Meg Munn. Mike has recently moved on to pastures new and we wish him all the best with his new job and all his future endeavors. Even though Mike is no longer an active member of our team, he is still on hand to offer any guidance and assistance, should we need it. He is a much valued friend and colleague and we know we have always got his uppermost continued support. Christina |
